Studies suggest that minimally processed ingredients like whole meat, poultry and fish offer superior levels of naturally occurring vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. They’re also easier to digest compared to processed ingredients that have been exposed to high heat.

All our fish comes from the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. For the most part, it’s caught off the coasts of the United States and Canada at sustainable fisheries certified by the Marine Stewardship Council.
No. The meat and poultry in Halo Holistic is certified by the Global Animal Partnership. To meet that organization’s standards, all animals must be raised without the use of growth hormones or antibiotics.
We make Halo Holistic with whole proteins from real animal sources only. This kind of protein is top quality and easier for your pet to digest. Because it’s minimally processed, whole proteins maintain their original nutrient composition, including essential vitamins and minerals.
An unopened bag is good until the expiration date. Once opened, store in a cool, dry place and consume within 6 weeks. To help our food stay fresh, we use mixed tocopherols, which are a natural, vitamin E-based preservative. As for artificial preservatives? Hard pass. You won't find 'em anywhere in our food.
